My portfolio showcases a collection of projects that reflect my growth as a designer and passion for intentional design.
Throughout my studies in the Visual Arts Program at Trident Technical College, I've explored how strategy, creativity, and attention to detail come together to create meaningful visual experiences. However, my journey started long before this. From an early age, creativity has been part of who I am. Whether playing piano, painting, or writing poetry and fiction, I've always been drawn to creative expression. Although this wasn't the career I initially pursued, those interests never disappeared. Before returning to school, I spent nearly a decade working as a pharmacist in the healthcare sector. While working in healthcare, I learned a valuable life lesson—the most meaningful impact often comes from listening well and creating experiences that truly resonate.
Maya Angelou said it best:
"I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
That perspective continues to shape the way I approach design today. Through my time at Trident Technical College, I've developed skills like branding, web design, and visual communication. Alongside technical knowledge and design principles, I've strengthened qualities that are equally important to my process—curiosity, attention to detail, adaptability, & more.
I believe the strongest design solutions balance creativity with purpose while never losing the human element.
On a more personal note, I live in Charleston, South Carolina. I’m a native but moved back in the last few years after living in several states across the Southeast. When I'm not designing, you'll often find me traveling, planning my next adventure, or spending time with my cat, Edison. Some of my dream destinations include the Vatican Museums in Rome, an art themed Rhine River cruise, and Claude Monet's museum in Paris. Finally, I believe life's too short not to keep learning, exploring, and creating.
